Physical and Chemical Properties

1) White crystalline powder, slight aromatic odor. Melting point is 114℃~116℃, Boiling point is 246℃.

2) Slightly soluble in water, soluble in dilute alkali solutions, freely soluble in many organic solvent & alkaline solution.

3) Large potency to Gram-positive, Gram-negative, epiphyte and mildew approved by FDA;

4) Good chemical stability, doesn’t lose activity in normal storage conditions;

Application:

PCMX is a highly effective broad-spectrum antimicrobial and preservative, used to inhibit bacteria, fungi and mold growth. Used as the pharmaceutical products, frequently employed as a local antiseptic, an anti-bacteria, an anti inflammation and an anti-ache in toothpastes and body powders.

1) Personal care products, antibacterial soap, antibacterial shampoo, liquid soap, laundry detergent and deodorant soap;

2) Cosmetic: as the stabilizer in face cream,lipstick,shampoo,eye shadow.

3) Household & institutional disinfectant, hospital Hygiene disinfectant, skin mucous membrane disinfectant;

Detergent: 0.5-1.0%;  Antibacterial liquid soap: 1.0%;

Disinfectant 4.5-5.0%;  Other formulation 0.1-3%;

Storage: Store in a dry and cool place. Stable storage for 2 years at room temperature.
