Composition: Mixture of Benzisothiazolinone and SPT (Ratio 2:8)

General:

Biocide LS-10 is a CIT/MIT-free, long-lasting biocide preservative that is heat-resistant, alkali-resistant, and has a long-lasting antibacterial effect. It has a wide range of applications, such as the biocide and preservation of water-based systems such as petroleum emulsions, latex, latex paints, including varnishes, hair waxes and colorants, water-based adhesives, inks, casein, dispersed rosin, textiles, spinning oils, pesticide formulations, mud, white powder, tape joint compounds, leather processing solutions, and fresh animal hides and shells.

Physical and Chemical Properties:

Appearance: Yellow solution

Odor: Characteristic odor

pH (20°C): 9.0-11.0

Solubility: Miscible with water and some organic solvents

Application Stability: Suitable operating conditions are pH 7.0-12 and temperatures not exceeding 150°C.

Usage/Compatibility:

This product can be added directly during production without requiring special equipment. Due to its slow sterilization rate, it is recommended that it be added to the system as early as possible during the production process.  The dosage of the sterilizer should be adjusted based on environmental and temperature fluctuations. In high temperatures, the dosage should be increased appropriately.

When using this product for the first time, it is recommended that users experiment with it and avoid contact with iron, zinc, and copper ions, as this may cause discoloration.

Recommended Usage:

The concentration ranges listed below should be used as general guidelines only.

Latex paint: 0.1-0.3%; Synthetic polymer emulsion: 0.1-0.3%; Water-based adhesives: 0.1-0.5%; Ink: 0.1-0.5%;

Metal cutting fluids: 0.1-0.4%; Agricultural fungicide products: 0.1-0.5%; Leather treatment fluids: 0.1-0.5%;

Tape crosslinking compounds: 0.1-0.5%; Household cleaning products (such as laundry detergents, dishwashing detergents, floor, wall, and window cleaners): 0.1-0.3%;
