Product Name: MEA Triazine; Hexahydro-1,3,5-tris(hydroxyethyl)-s-triazine;
CAS No.: 4719-04-4
EINCECS No.: 225-208-0
Molecular Formula: C9H21N3O3
This product is mainly composed of 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3,5-hexahydrotriazine. It is a broad-spectrum, high-efficiency and low-toxic antiseptic and antiseptic fungicide. Suitable for neutral, weakly alkaline, alkaline working environment, no corrosion to equipment. This product has strong killing power against various Gram-positive or negative bacteria, mold and yeast.
MEA Triazine Bactericide is a microbial control agent specifically designed for industrial environments, with modified organic guanidine compounds as its core component. This product controls microbial growth by interfering with cell membrane function and metabolic processes. It is suitable for industrial systems with a pH of 7-14 and is widely used in papermaking, metalworking fluids, water-based coatings, and the preservation of industrial and industrial technology products, helping to extend equipment life and maintain process stability.
Features
1. Designed specifically for industrial systems with a pH of 7-14, maintaining activity under alkaline conditions, suitable for papermaking, metalworking fluids, and other applications.
2. Inhibits Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, molds, and yeasts, with an inhibitory concentration of 500-1000 ppm.
3. Resistant to high temperatures (≤80℃) and highly alkaline environments, maintaining stable properties during storage and not easily decomposed.
4. Free of heavy metals, formaldehyde, and VOCs; biodegradability exceeds 70%; acute oral LD50 in rats reaches 5000 mg/kg, classifying it as a safe product.
5. Compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants and various industrial additives (such as scale inhibitors and dispersants), exhibiting no precipitation or stratification.
Applications:
1. Papermaking Industry: Used in pulp mixing tanks, pulping tanks, white water tanks, etc., to reduce fiber degradation and improve paper strength.
2. Metalworking Fluids: Added to cutting fluids and grinding fluids to prevent microbial growth and extend the service life of the processing fluid.
3. Water-based coatings and inks: Prevent spoilage, odor, and viscosity changes caused by microbial growth during storage.
4. Oilfield industry: Used as a bactericide for circulating water and a corrosion inhibitor for drilling fluids, controlling bacterial and algal growth and equipment corrosion.
5. Industrial product preservation: Used for the preservation of lubricating oils, adhesives, electroplating solutions, etc., preventing deterioration caused by microbial metabolites.
Usage Instructions
1. Dosage: Adjust the dosage according to the application scenario: Pulp mildew and corrosion prevention: Common dosage is 0.05%-0.1% (by pulp mass); Metalworking fluid working fluid: Recommended dosage is 0.1%-0.5%; Detergent corrosion prevention: Common dosage is 0.2%-0.3%.
2. Timing of Addition: Add in the early stages of the production process, such as before pulp loading in the paper industry, and during the preparation process for metalworking fluids, ensuring uniform mixing. After addition, allow sufficient time (recommended at least 30 minutes). If the system contains a large amount of surfactant or electrolyte, the dosage should be increased appropriately and the mixing time extended.
