Zinc pyrithione is a colorless solid, under the condition of normal temperature neutral almost insoluble in water. ZPT is a coordination complex of zinc. It has fungistatic (that is, it inhibits the division of fungal cells) and bacteriostatic (inhibits bacterial cell division) properties.

Zinc Pyrithione Powder is best known for its use in treating dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. It also has antibacterial properties and is effective against many pathogens from the streptococcus and staphylococcus class.

Application:

Zinc Pyrithione is used as anti-dandruff agent and bactericide in cosmetics, and is widely used in the preparation of anti-dandruff shampoo. Mainly used in cosmetics, shampoo, skin care, but also used in adhesives, paints, paints, etc.
