CMIT MIT biocide kill the bacteria, algae in circulating water

For the circulating water in the production process, algae removal, and bacteriostasis have always troubled the industrial enterprises. CMIT/MIT is with the chemical full name Chloromethylisothiazolinone/ Methylisothiazolinone. The CAS Number of CMIT/MIT is 26172-55-4,  2682-20-4.

 

CMIT/MIT has many good characterics:

1) It causes immediate inhibition of growth on coming in contact with a microorganism.

2) CMIT/MIT readily penetrates the surface of adhering biofilm to give effective control of sessile microorganisms.

3) It remains active for long periods of time in the water system, resulting in low service costs.

 

CMIT/MIT is widely used in watertreatment indsutry, such as circulating cooling water, petrochemical reinjection system as a bactericide, microbial inhibitor, could also be used in air conditioning systems, reservoirs, any industrial water to prevent the growth of algae and bacteria.
